Observing the night sky is an unforgettable experience, but unfortunately astronomy is dependent on the weather. There are a number of tools and websites that we often use to give us a better idea of what the viewing conditions will be like on a particular night, and we have provided a few of them here.

A negative Bz and high K and A values are strong indicators for aurora.
